Money the easy way

Lately I have been trying to find ways to make some easy money. After about a year of trying many ways, I have determined there really is not an easy way. You might get lucky on the lotto or gambling, but the best way is still through hard work. To make money on the stock market takes time, patience and research. To make money on the internet takes even more time. The key is to get people to your website and that takes work. Good luck to anyone trying it and let me know if you find a surefire way!

Lonely

I don't seem to be getting any traffic with my feel good blogs, so I am starting to feel a little lonely here. I wish someone would read my blogs and comment so I know someone is out there in the cyber world. That is something that would bring a smile to my face. Please someone drop me a line, good or bad.

Romance in the air

Yesterday as I was seated in a local restaurant, I observed a young couple seated at another table. It soon became quite obvious to me that they were on their first date. The boy pulled out the chair for the young lady before she sat down, which brought a smile to the young ladies face. Then when the young man sat down you could see he was very nervous. He was struggling to come up with conversation, and would take frequent sips out of his water glass. The young lady looked fairly calm and seemed to be enjoying his company so far.Soon the waiter came over to take their order and it gave the young man a brief break from conversation. They ordered and as the waiter walked away, the young man looked at his date and must have hit on just the right question or thought, because from then on the conversation kept flowing and the couple seemed to be enjoying each others company more and more. I am willing to bet these two will continue to date at least for a little while so they can find out more about each other. After observing this I went home and asked my wife if she remembered our first date. She could describe it as if it happened just yesterday. It brought a smile to both of our faces and we continued to remember more of our early dates. I suggest you try this with your companion and it should bring a smile to your face as well.

Lovers

Today while driving by the local college I noticed two lovers seated on the steps of one of the college buildings. They were holding hands and looking into each other's eyes and would occasionally kiss each other briefly. I could see by their facial expressions that both people were very happy and at this particular moment they did not have any cares in the world. This brought back memories of my college years which made me very happy as well. The more I observe what makes other people happy the more I find what makes me happy. I suggest to anybody needing a cheer up, to just look around and observe other people being happy. It sure does wonders for me.

Toddlers affect on Older people

Today while walking and shopping downtown, I stopped to observe a couple of ladies in their early seventies talking to a boy and his sister. In my town we have a nursing home for the elderly downtown and the residents like to sit out front and visit with the shoppers downtown. In this case a mother with her two children had stopped to window shop and the young boy and girl had started talking to the two elderly ladies. The boy looked around 6 or 7 and the girl looked around 3 or 4. As I observed the conversation I couldn't help but notice how the two elderly women were smiling the whole time. I could tell by looking at them that they were feeling good inside and I doubt very muchm that they were feeling very old during this time. The children too were smiling and enjoying their visit with the ladies. When the mother stopped looking in the window and try to grab the kids hands, the boy dodged her mother and gave one of the elderly ladies a hug. Seeing this the little girl had to give the other lady a hug as well. When the two kids were hugging the elderly ladies I swear the whole street lit up with the smiles from the four people doing the hugging. Upon viewing this the mother stopped and chatted with the women as well. I am hoping they were setting up future times they could get together for a short 5 minute chat or possibly longer. Since seeing this I have taken my own daughter downtown and I make sure we both take time to chat with the elderly people. I hope anybody who reads this will try and do the same. Our world is getting more and more elderly and they all need friends too!

Babies are comforting.

I wish to start my first blog by describing the feelings I felt when my daughter was born, and some of the feelings I have observed on other parents of babies and toddlers. This may sound cliche but I swear it is the absolute truth. Having a child will change your life completely. I use to be just a guy looking for fun wherever and whenever I could find it. I got married and soon after my daughter was born. The day my daughter was born I felt like a new person. I now had tremendous responsibilities that I never had before. I was scared and tremendously happy at the same time. My daughter was so tiny and frail that I was afraid if I held her too tight or accidently dropped her something terrible could happen. Yet it seems that a person just knows how to handle a baby correctly. It must be an instinct that every person has. As she got older, she is now seven, the fear of any little thing hurting her went away. Anyway the main point of this blog is that I felt the happiest I have ever felt in my life when she was just a baby, I have since watched many parents with babies and toddlers and it appears to me that they have the same feelings. Parents, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, even close friends seem to smile big when holding or playing with babies. I would like to hear other peoples observations or feelings on this subject, so please add your comments to this blog, I will add more soon.
